General Terms and Conditions

Terms & Conditions – Lyria London

1. Scope of Application

These Terms & Conditions apply to all purchases made through the Lyria London webshop and govern the relationship between the consumer and Lyria London. By placing an order, you accept these terms in full. We recommend reviewing them carefully before completing your purchase.

2. Products and Information

We strive to provide accurate and up-to-date descriptions, images, and measurements for all products. Some items are produced or supplied by external manufacturers, which may result in minor variations in colour, size, or design. Such variations are not considered defects, provided that the overall functionality of the product remains intact.

3. Orders and Contract Formation

A binding agreement is formed once you receive an order confirmation via email. Lyria London reserves the right to cancel any order in the event of obvious typographical errors, technical issues, suspected fraud, or insufficient stock. All orders are processed in the order they are received.

4. Delivery and Shipping

We work with European and international logistics partners to minimise environmental impact and ensure efficient delivery. Your order may be shipped directly from our warehouse, the manufacturer, or one of our logistics partners. Delivery times are approximate and depend on transport conditions, customs handling, and potential delays by the carrier. Any applicable shipping costs are clearly displayed before you confirm your order.

5. Payment and Security

We accept major payment methods, including credit cards and digital payment services. Payments are charged only when the order has been dispatched. All transactions are secured through encrypted connections (SSL) to protect your personal information.

6. Right of Withdrawal

As a consumer, you have the right to withdraw from your purchase within 14 days from the date you receive the goods. To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must notify us in writing before the withdrawal period expires. Returns must be sent to our designated return centre. All direct return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer. Items must be returned in their original condition and packaging.

7. Warranty and Claims

Under consumer protection regulations, you are entitled to submit a claim for any manufacturing or material defect within two years of receiving the product. This right applies only to original defects and does not cover normal wear, incorrect use, or damage caused by the consumer. To initiate a claim, please contact our customer support in writing, describe the issue, and provide your order number. We may request photos or require the item to be returned for inspection.

8. Limitation of Liability

Lyria London’s liability is limited to the amount you have paid for the product. We are not responsible for indirect losses, consequential damages, loss of profit, or other financial consequences arising from the use of the product.

9. Website Errors

We reserve the right for any typographical errors, price adjustments, out-of-stock items, and technical issues that may occur on the website.

10. Force Majeure

Lyria London is not responsible for delays or failure to deliver caused by circumstances beyond our control, including but not limited to natural disasters, strikes, war, epidemics, import restrictions, or transport disruptions.

11. VAT and Import Duties

All prices displayed in the webshop include VAT for customers within the Untied kingdom &  EU, unless otherwise stated.
For business customers within the UK AND EU with a valid VAT number, reverse-charge rules apply, and VAT will not be added according to UK / EU regulations.
Customers outside the UK do not pay UK VAT but may be charged local customs or import duties upon delivery. These charges are the responsibility of the customer.

12. Special Regulations for Postal and Courier Deliveries (Import)

For international orders, we follow international regulations for postal and courier services, which allow the carrier to charge the recipient directly for VAT, customs fees, and clearance costs.
All product prices are therefore shown excluding these additional charges.
Under VAT rules, the place of supply is deemed to be where the transport begins — in this case, outside the UK.

We do not charge any shipping fee, which underscores that we are not responsible for transportation itself. Delivery and import procedures are handled exclusively by our supplier and transport partner (e.g., ZithuExpress).
Any unpaid VAT is the responsibility of the carrier. We cannot be held liable for unpaid VAT or customs fees, as we fulfil our obligations under UK legislation.

13. Applicable Law and Dispute Resolution

All purchases are governed by the laws of United kingdom. Any dispute that cannot be resolved amicably shall be settled by a UK court of law, with the District Court of London as the first instance, unless otherwise required by mandatory consumer legislation.

14. Corrections to Price and Product Information

Lyria London reserves the right to correct any inaccuracies regarding pricing or product information. Adjustments may be made retroactively without the company being held liable for any perceived inconvenience!

By completing a purchase, the customer acknowledges and accepts the above Terms & Conditions.
